Where Is Mired Conduit?
Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Mired Conduit sits inside Coral Snakes’ Hideout in Battahl, with its circular entrance beside the shallow pool at the bottom of the bandit camp. Reaching Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Mired Conduit puts Allegoric Plate, Meteoric Cuisses, and an Offering Flame within reach, but its door requires four completed Lost Rites trials. Head into the hideout, descend through its wooden platforms, and look for the carved stone doorway near the water.
The world map places the trial in Battahl’s orange canyon region, below the Enoa’Battahl Forest label. The important distinction is elevation: reaching the map marker aboveground still leaves you looking for the passage down into the camp.
| Location detail | What to look for |
|---|---|
| Region | Battahl |
| Surrounding dungeon | Coral Snakes’ Hideout |
| Map reference | Orange canyon region below Enoa’Battahl Forest |
| Entrance landmark | Circular carved doorway beside a shallow pool |
| Trial requirement | Complete four or more Lost Rites trials |
Prepare Before Traveling
To work toward unlocking Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen mired conduit, start the Lost Rites quest by speaking with Captain Brant at the tavern in Vernworth at night about the uncovered ruins. Clearing Devilkin Hollow gives you the Proving Ground Compass, which reveals other trial locations.
Devilkin Hollow, Daemon’s Corral, and Sunken Spire have no entry conditions, making them useful places to begin working toward four clears. Complete another accessible trial after those three.
Bring the Empowered Godsbane Blade, obtained through A New Godsway, before setting out. Progress Mercy Among Thieves for the regular route into Coral Snakes’ Hideout.
The Lost Rites starting recommendation is level 20, but the challenges become harder as you progress. Prepare for a sustained dungeon run here, including corrupted enemies, narrow crossings, and an Evil Eye encounter.
How to Reach the Entrance Through Coral Snakes’ Hideout
For the regular Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Mired Conduit route, enter Coral Snakes’ Hideout and work downward through the camp. Keep the pool as your destination rather than following the upper walkways indefinitely.
- Enter the cave leading into the hideout. The Coral Snakes’ Hideout location banner identifies the area.
- Follow the furnished passage. Continue until you reach the ledge overlooking the camp.
- Descend onto the wooden platforms. Follow the plank routes toward the lowest section.
- Find the shallow pool. Look along the red cliff beside the water for the circular runic entrance.
- Examine the doorway. With four Lost Rites trials completed, activate the entrance and proceed inside.
The final descent matters more than the surface marker. If you are still overlooking the camp from above, continue toward the platforms and water.
Optional Harpy Shortcut
An alternate approach uses the rocky ledges around a cave entrance and a Harpysnare Smoke Beacon to reach an elevated opening into the hideout.
Cross the bridge on the approach, climb toward the cave mouth, and work along the adjacent ledges. Bandits can be present around the entrance. The climbing section includes several jumps before the difficult final ascent.
Use the beacon at that final climb, then grab the arriving harpy to ride upward. Keep your pawns away while attracting it, since they can attack and kill the creature before you get your lift.
Once through the elevated cave opening, descend onto the camp’s structures and continue toward the trial doorway.
Bring at least one beacon if you intend to use this shortcut. It helps with the climb, while the four-trial requirement still applies at the Lost Rites entrance.
Mired Conduit Walkthrough and Hidden Chests
Inside Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Mired Conduit, the route descends through flooded ruins before opening into crystal caverns. Purple braziers mark several important chambers, and enemy barriers interrupt your progress.
1. Descend Into the Flooded Ruins
Head down the opening staircase and deal with the Corrupted Harpy. Continue into the cavern, clearing the dark sludge-like enemies and corrupted Saurians along the way.
Search the rocky corners before committing to the next descent. One chest contains six Wyrmslife Crystals. A side chamber with pillars holds two Dried Fish and five Fine Roe Roborant.
Use these early rooms to check your supplies and party condition.
2. Search the Submerged Corridor
Continue down the steps into the flooded passage. An alcove chest contains a Makeshift Gaol Key and 38,000 G.
A pawn is imprisoned nearby. Examine its details before deciding whether to open the cell and recruit it. The Makeshift Gaol Key breaks after one use.
Keep track of which rooms you have searched as you descend. Several rewards sit away from the immediate route toward the boss.
3. Remove the Red Barrier
The damaged walkway leads toward an arch blocked by red light between purple braziers. Skeletons attack along the crossing while a floating undead spellcaster launches lightning from beyond it.
Defeat the spellcaster to remove the seal. Clear space around your party, then concentrate attacks on the enemy controlling the barrier.
Search the rooms beyond the arch before moving on:
| Landmark | Chest contents |
|---|---|
| Rocky corner in the early ruins | Wyrmslife Crystal ×6 |
| Pillared side chamber | Dried Fish ×2; Fine Roe Roborant ×5 |
| Submerged corridor alcove | Makeshift Gaol Key; 38,000 G |
| Chamber beyond the red barrier | Panacea; Harspud Roborant ×3 |
| Adjoining room with urns and chains | Wyrmslife Crystal ×20; 900 RC |
| Alcove after the cavern beast | Saurian Tail ×3; Mighty Roborant ×3; 900 RC |
| Hidden space behind the cracked wall | 3,000 RC |
4. Push Through the Crystal Cavern
Continue through the crystal-lined passages, where spiny enemies appear alongside red tentacles emerging from the ground. Cut down the tentacles separately and leave room to retreat between attacks.
A larger cavern contains a hulking creature surrounded by dark mist. Defeat it to collect Brinebeast materials, then search the alcove beyond for its three chests.
Avoid rushing straight from this encounter into the final corridor. That alcove contains both recovery items and Rift Crystals.
5. Break the Cracked Wall
Past the cavern encounter, watch the right side of the corridor for a cracked wall near a barred gate. Strike the damaged stone to expose a chest holding 3,000 RC.
Collect the nearby Panacea and search the urns for the Fulgurous Lord grimoire before continuing.
Before entering the boss chamber, check these easy-to-miss pickups:
- The six Wyrmslife Crystals in the early rocky corner.
- The key and gold in the submerged corridor.
- The 20 Wyrmslife Crystals beyond the red barrier.
- The hidden 3,000 RC chest behind the breakable wall.
How to Defeat the Evil Eye
The boss of Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Mired Conduit revolves around a straightforward damage cycle: destroy tentacles, drop the shield, then attack the exposed eye.
Prepare a party with a Thief, Mage, Warrior, and Archer.
| Party slot | Vocation | Useful role |
|---|---|---|
| Arisen | Thief | Slash tentacles and attack the exposed eye |
| Main pawn | Mage | Recommended party member |
| Hired pawn | Warrior | Sever tentacles with broad swings |
| Hired pawn | Archer | Maintain ranged pressure |
Equip Heaven’s Key on a Thief to exploit the boss’s vulnerability to slashing and Holy damage. For an Archer pawn using Erupting Shot, bring Explosive Arrows.
Shielded Phase: Clear the Tentacles
Entering the square platform closes the portcullis behind you. The Evil Eye emerges through the petal-shaped opening in the crystal wall, protected by a blue sphere.
While that sphere remains active, the eye takes no damage. Redirect your attacks toward the tentacles rising from the platform and surrounding water.
Watch for spell circles beneath your feet and move before they activate. The boss uses lightning, ice, and beam attacks while its tentacles pressure the party.
Revive fallen pawns during openings between attacks. Keep enough room to move rather than gathering everyone beside an active tentacle.
Exposed Phase: Attack the Eye
After enough tentacles fall, the shield disappears and the Evil Eye drops onto the platform. Move in and strike the eye directly.
Use this opening for concentrated damage. Climb or jump toward its front when necessary, then reposition when the protected phase resumes.
The boss retreats partway through the encounter, opening access to stairs and a reward chest between spear-bearing statues. Collect that hoard when the route becomes available.
Returning Phase: Repeat the Cycle
When the Evil Eye returns, its blue shield comes back with it. Destroy the tentacles again, avoid the elemental attacks, and punish the next exposed-eye opening.
An Unmaking Arrow offers an optional way to end the returning encounter quickly. Firing one triggers an automatic save as it leaves the bow, so line up the shot carefully.
Ordinary weapons and skills can finish the fight. Continue the tentacle-and-eye cycle until the creature dies and the far wall opens.
Mired Conduit Rewards and Return Visits
Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Mired Conduit rewards exploration as well as boss progress. Its armor hoard becomes accessible after the Evil Eye’s retreat, while killing the returning boss opens another dais.
| Reward | Where to collect it |
|---|---|
| Allegoric Plate ×1 | Hoard reached after the Evil Eye retreats |
| Meteoric Cuisses ×1 | Same armor hoard |
| Offering Flame ×1 | Same armor hoard |
| 200,000 G | Final chest after killing the Evil Eye |
| Wakestone ×2 | Final chest after killing the Evil Eye |
| Wyrmslife Crystal ×26 | Exploration chests throughout the dungeon |
| Brinebeast Ore and Brinebeast Fragments | Dungeon encounters |
The Offering Flame is used at the Obelisks of Benediction in Norgan for boons tied to upgraded weapon skills.
The unique armor and Offering Flame belong to the first-clear rewards. Repeated clears replace unique final-chest equipment with rewards such as gold and Ferrystones, while respawning encounters provide further materials.
After your initial completion, Mired Conduit’s entry condition changes to “No conditions.” You can return when the trial reopens without meeting the four-clear requirement again.
FAQ
Where is the Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Mired Conduit entrance?

Why is the Mired Conduit door locked?
Its entry condition requires four or more completed Lost Rites trials. Discovering the doorway or reaching it through the harpy shortcut does not satisfy that requirement.
