Where Is the Interminable Corridor?

Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Interminable Corridor hides its entrance inside Dead-End Curve, west of the Misty Marshes. Reaching its treasure takes careful packing, a special blade, and enough preparation to survive a long dungeon crawl. To enter Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Interminable Corridor, bring the Empowered Godsbane Blade and make sure every party member has a Very Light Weight Carried status.

The entrance is only the beginning. Beyond it, ruined chambers, descending caves, hidden passages, and sealed archways turn the trial into an extended test of your party's endurance.

Take the Ancient Battleground shortcut

Approach Dead-End Curve through the Ancient Battleground rather than crossing the Misty Marshes directly. Work your way up through the fort and open the shortcut door. Once that gate is unlocked, you can use the shorter approach on later visits.

An Ogre waits before the trial entrance, so leave yourself enough supplies to handle the approach before relying on the dungeon's provisions.

Check each character individually before examining the door. Moving everything onto one pawn will leave that pawn over the limit and prevent entry.

The weight restriction applies when opening the entrance. You can collect supplies and become heavier after entering, so there is no need to keep passing up treasure throughout the trial.

Prepare Your Party and Pack for the Entrance

Preparation for Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Interminable Corridor revolves around two competing needs: entering with minimal baggage and carrying tools for enemies that resist straightforward attacks.

Store duplicate equipment and excess provisions before traveling. Camping kits, lantern oil, food, and curatives are available inside, including supplies near the beginning. Reduce those bulky stacks when you need to reach Very Light, then replenish once you pass the seal.

Keep the Empowered Godsbane Blade in your inventory. Leave room for a compact selection of emergency items, especially Wakestones and poison cures.

Cover poison, healing, and crowd control

An Archer gives you direct access to poison through Nocuous Shot and Blighting Arrows, which are particularly useful against the dungeon's unusual slimes. A Mage supports the party through repeated encounters, while a Fighter and Sorcerer provide enemy attention control and area attacks.

Party memberSkills or equipment to considerPurpose inside the dungeon

Main Pawn: MageHigh Palladium and High EmpyreanShield the party and damage enemies
Hired Pawn: FighterShield DrumDraw enemy and boss attention
Hired Pawn: SorcererHigh Hagol, High Thundermine, or MaelstromFreeze enemies, control groups, or deliver powerful area damage

If you prefer another vocation, plan around the Poison Casks found inside. They provide an environmental answer to slimes without requiring you to play an Archer.

Use the camping areas between difficult encounters. The dungeon also contains Forgotten Riftstones for replacing lost pawns. Check your party before pushing deeper, especially after a fight that leaves several companions down.

The general Lost Rites starting recommendation of level 20 applies to the beginning of that content. It should not guide your expectations for every encounter in this particular trial, whose deeper fights are substantially more demanding.

Follow the Sealed Archways Through the Dungeon

Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Interminable Corridor winds through multiple combat areas and side passages. Use the guarded archways as progress markers: defeating the powerful enemies associated with them removes the seals blocking your route.

1. Resupply below the entrance

Descend the stairs after entering and gather the camping equipment, lantern oil, and curatives available nearby.

Pick up enough to support your next stretch of exploration. You have already cleared the entrance weight check, but carrying every duplicate camping kit will still fill your inventory unnecessarily.

Before leaving each chamber, inspect its corners and visible side routes. Hidden passages and breakable walls lead to additional chests throughout the dungeon.

2. Defeat the chained cyclops

The circular arena includes waves of smaller enemies followed by a chain-bound cyclops.

Attack its legs to bring it down, then concentrate damage on its head and eye while it is prone. Lightning attacks from pawns can help stagger it.

Defeating the cyclops opens the associated sealed archway and provides Brinebeast materials. Collect the drops, then check the arena's side passages before moving on.

3. Clear the floating casters

Farther along, a pink seal blocks another passage. Clear the lesser enemies and deal with the floating, robed casters.

Watch for purple lightning and the slowly moving formation of purple orbs. Use ranged attacks to maintain pressure while they hover, or connect with jumping attacks when they move within reach.

Defeat both casters to remove the seal. Their airborne movement makes this a useful place to let ranged pawns contribute while you avoid standing directly beneath incoming spells.

4. Follow the descending cave route

Beyond the ladder, a teleporting spectre attacks in a corridor. Stay alert for its repositioning and knockdowns.

An ornate double door farther ahead is locked from the other side. Leave it and continue by stepping off the platform, passing through the archway, and following the cave downward.

Use the camps along the route to recover before the final encounter. The trial continues beyond earlier boss arenas, so keep exploring until you reach the end coffer.

Before advancing, check for these easily overlooked rewards:

  • Chests behind cracked masonry.
  • Treasure tucked into side alcoves and raised ledges.
  • The purple-crystal altar chamber.
  • The chest beneath the crack in the later room's floor.

Handle Poison Slimes and the Corrupted Dullahan

The toughest obstacles in Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Interminable Corridor demand different responses. Slimes reward bringing the correct status effect; the final Corrupted Dullahan demands sustained party survival.

Use poison against Blue and Purple Slimes

If your attacks barely move a slime's health bar, switch tactics. Purple Slimes are susceptible to poison, making Blighting Arrows a practical tool for clearing them.

Use these options as you encounter them:

  • Fire Blighting Arrows with Nocuous Shot.
  • Throw nearby Poison Casks at the slimes.
  • Bait Corrupted Asps into attacking the slimes.

Preserve access to poison as you explore side rooms. Otherwise, an optional treasure detour can turn into a drawn-out fight against an enemy your current attacks struggle to damage.

The poison-cloud chest holding the Phantasmic Shawl presents a separate hazard. Have a poison cure ready before collecting it.

Recover before fighting the Corrupted Dullahan

The final boss is a Corrupted Dullahan, and repeated pawn knockdowns can quickly make the encounter difficult to recover from.

Rest at the preceding camping area and check that your party is ready before entering. Keep your Mage's support available, use High Palladium for shielding, and stay close enough to benefit from Anodyne when healing is needed.

Try fire attacks against the Dullahan. Keep pressure on it while watching your companions, and revive fallen pawns when you have an opening. Bring Wakestones to recover from a lethal mistake.

The boss drops the Ring of Imperception and Brinebeast materials. After its defeat opens the final sealed doorway, continue through to the reward chamber. Collecting the boss drops alone leaves the end coffer unopened.

Find the Chests and Claim the Final Rewards

Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Interminable Corridor contains 15 chests, giving you plenty of reasons to investigate its branches. Several are hidden behind breakable walls, while others sit in dead-end caves, alcoves, and elevated spaces.

Look for cracked masonry as you travel. Strike suspicious walls and check the opening before returning to the main route.

Treasure locations worth checking

The purple-crystal altar chamber is reached by climbing the steps beyond a breach in a wall. Its two chests contain Allheal Elixir x3 and a Ferrystone.

Later, a crack in the middle of a room leads down to another chest containing an Allheal Elixir. Inspect the floor before leaving that area.

Across the dungeon's chests, the consumable and currency haul includes:

TreasureQuantity
Gold80,000 G
Wyrmslife Crystal20
Giant Hunk of Rift Crystal10
Tiger Eye5
Allheal Elixir4
Wakestone2
Panacea2

Other chest rewards include the Band of Dunscaith, Lordly Eyepatch, Ophidian Diadem, Griffin-Feather Cloak, Phantasmic Shawl, Ring of Amplification, and a Ferrystone.

Check those side rooms before committing to the next stretch. The dungeon's dark corridors and looping passages make it easy to notice an unexplored branch only after you have moved several chambers beyond it.

Open the coffer between the statues

After defeating the final boss, pass through the opened doorway and climb the steps. The end coffer stands between two warrior statues holding crossed spears.

The Offering Flame can be used at the Obelisks of Benediction in Norgan to obtain boons, including upgraded forms of the expansion's new weapon skills.

The unique equipment and Offering Flame belong to your first clear. Repeated clears replace the final chest's unique rewards with Gold and Ferrystones, while respawning enemies can still provide Brinebeast materials.

For a thorough Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Interminable Corridor clear, finish by checking your side-chest loot, collecting the Dullahan's ring, and opening the coffer beyond its sealed door.
